Important:
The Boulder Rock Club will be hosting the Sport Climbing Series (SCS)on March 12th. We are excited to open our doors and our facility to the climbing community for this amazing event.


What is going on?:
We are hosting a COMBINED event. Our last BCS of the Season and a sanctioned SCS local event.
Well, what does that mean?:
That means we will have a normal BCS event, and special routes for SCS competitors.

*We will start climbing earlier

*The BRC WILL BE CLOSED 5:00pm to reduce crowds for the comp

*We will have separate scoring and separate score cards for BCS and SCS competitors

*If you are a BCS competitor, you will compete as normal

*If you are an SCS competitor, you will follow the SCS rules of a Redpoint event.

*If you are an SCS competitor that is also a BSC competitor, you will fill out 2 score cards, but just pay the $35 fee.


Climbing:
Registration 3:30pm
Competitors Meeting 4:45pm
Competition 5:00-9:00pm
Raffle, Pizza & Beverages, and Awards 9:00-10:00pm
BCS $20, $10 for members
SCS $35


Registration for SCS:
$35.00 per competitor
Must be a USA Climbing member. If not, you must pay an additional $5 for for a non-member pass to a USAC event. You then have a 2-day grace period after a competition in which to join SCS and receive ranking and attendance credit.
Register day of comp in person at front desk.
Competitors will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver.

Format:
SCS: Redpoint, peer judged, with 1 boulder problem required


We Need Volunteers:

Must be lead and top rope belay certified at the BRC
Volunteers will receive Pizza, beverages, raffle ticket, and 1 Month Free BRC pass

Driving Directions to the Boulder Inn:
Follow Airport Exit signs to Pena Blvd. After 9.7 miles, Pena Blvd. merges into I-70W.
From I-70 W – Take the I-270 N Exit (exit number 279) toward Fort Collins.
Merge onto US-36 W – Take Baseline Rd. Exit – Stay in middle lane after exit.
Go straight through the light onto Frontage Rd. Hotel is one block on the right.
