Argentina

Argentina is the second largest country in South America and the eighth largest in the world. It lies between the southern Atlantic Ocean in the east and south and the Andes mountain range to the west. The Andes form the world’s longest exposed mountain range as well as the highest mountain range outside Asia. This is where you’ll find the 22,835’ Stone Sentinel, Aconcagua. Check out our incredible Aconcagua expedition that we offer below.

Aconcagua: False Polish Route

At 22,835’ above sea level—just under 7,000 meters—Argentina’s Aconcagua rises higher than any peak outside the Himalaya. We ascend this great mountain via the Falso de los Polacos route, which begins on the more remote Polish Glacier and connects with the Ruta Normal on summit day. Our clients consistently recognize our Aconcagua trips for their superb all-around quality, and they’ve become a CMS hallmark over the last twenty years.
