Mike Soucy

Mike grew up in Boston and learned to climb on the granite of New Hampshire. After moving to Colorado 10 years ago Mike has climbed extensively all over the west. Favorites include the Black Canyon and the Utah desert, although he loves getting to Alaska or Canada for big mountain routes. Mike is also an avid ski mountaineer, and works as a ski patroller at Monarch Pass in the winter. When he’s not climbing, Mike enjoys mountain biking, trail running and reading good books.

Mike worked for Outward Bound for 7 years, which inspired him to pursue guiding as a career. He has completed both the AMGA Rock Instructor and Alpine Guide courses, and aspires to become IFMGA certified.
