Jill Salva
Certified Single Pitch Instructor
Whether ascending rock, snow or ice, you are sure to see a smile on Jilly’s face. After a successful stint in the corporate realm, she now shares her passion for the outdoors with people of all ages.
For over 15 years, Jilly has lead outings on rivers and also in the alpine regions of the West. Along the way she’s bagged Colorado 13ers and 14ers in all seasons. Some of her favorite places to climb are: the Sandia Mountains in New Mexico, Rocky Mountain National Park, Yosemite, Bolivia and Ecuador.
Known for her long enduro-fests Jilly has run the Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim four years in a row. While her formal education includes a BA in English Literature and an MBA in Information Technology Management, she says she’s learned much more about life and the world from time spent with others enjoying the mountains.
Jilly is a Wilderness First Responder and has completed AIARE Level 1 and Level 2 Avalanche training. When not outside, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and learning about the healing properties of plants, minerals and animals.
