Other places you have lived: I have lived in Montezuma CO working as ski patroller in Summit County CO. In dessert of Arizona in back of my pickup truck putting up first ascents in the back country of Sedona AZ. I lived in small cabin heated by a small stove on Independence pass between Aspen and Twin Lakes. I reside in the Front Range of CO with my wonderful wife and two Labrador retrievers. I have also lived in Eldorado Springs, Nederland, and Leadville.

How did you get started guiding: AMGA TRSM course/exam in 1998
Skiing & climbing destinations that you have visited:
Yearly Skiing destinations: Alaska, California, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming.
Annual climbing trips to the Black Canyon, Red Rock Nevada, Northern and Southern Cascades.
I have visited climbing destinations like the Cathedral Spires, Sedona, Cochise Stronghold and Paradise forks Arizona. On the way to and from the dessert I would stop and complete a Castle Valley circuit outside of Moab.
Memorable routes climbed: Resolution Arete in Red Rocks NV, Liberty Ridge Mount Rainer WA, Vertigo Eldorado Canyon CO
Favorite destination: Ski Mountaineering in AK
Favorite type of climbing: Rope a rack and skies on my back
Favorite type of skiing or snowboarding:
50 degree convexity rolls into arm pit deep powder.
How long have you worked with CMS:
I was an “on-call” guide for two years prior to coming on full time in 2009.
Skills and/or interests outside of climbing: Volunteering, Skiing and Climbing with friends and spending time with my family.
Certifications:
AMGA Rock Guide and Rock Instructor Exam Certified also I am an AMGA SPI Program Director, AIARE Level 1 Instructor, WFR Cert. and Winter Emergency Care Cert. Working towards IFMGA cert.
Other outdoor related accomplishments: Malamute fell down in a 100 foot mine shaft in central Colorado mountains while ski touring and with a bit of skill and perseverance we were able rescue Tungka Moo ourselves without outside rescue support.
Do you play any sports: Sand Volley Ball and ice hockey
